Services
Currently Freedom Horse offers the following services:
Evaluation
Before a student is entered into a program an evaluation will be done. This allows the student to come to the facility to meet the horses. A short lesson on the horse will be given to gauge the ability of the student. An initial plan will be created and lessons will be based around this plan.
Riding Instruction- Able-bodied and Therapeutic Riding
After an initial evaluation lesson plans will be created to track the progress of the student. As the students riding ability changes the lesson plan will change accordingly. Lessons are given on an individual basis to allow the student to progress at their own pace.
Lessons are 1/2 hour instruction.

Grooming
These lessons focus on the care and grooming of the horse. It allows the student to interact with the horse without having to ride. This is a good beginning for a student unsure about riding. Grooming is also used for tactile stimulation and exercise of the upper body. For those students with a fear of the size of a horse, a miniature donkey can be used.
