Elizabeth Carlson has been riding for 14 years and professionally teaching for the past 4 years. Her interest in teaching Therapeutic Riding came when she volunteered for a riding academy who specialized in Therapeutic Riding. Elizabeth attended a course at Centenary College, located in Hackettstown New Jersey, specifically designed to educate students in the background, teaching techniques, safety instruction, and NARHA standards, for Therapeutic Riding, which were created to bring a level of professionalism to this field.

Elizabeth has received her Advanced Level teaching certificate from NARHA and continues to work with the Therapeutic Riding at Centenary College.
